About
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) works to ensure that women diagnosed with breast cancer, and their families, receive the very best information, treatment, care and support possible, no matter who they are or where they live. BCNA is the peak national organisation for Australians affected by breast cancer, and consists of a network of more than 50,000 individual members and 284 Member Groups.
The BCNA online network exists to inform, empower, represent and link together people affected by breast cancer. The BCNA online network provides an important platform for carrying out these objectives.
Quiip’s services were employed to craft three internal documents integral to the functioning of the BCNA’s online network. These internal documents included a Risk Strategy Document, a Content Assessment & Escalation Chart based on the founding principles of the site’s Terms of Use and Internal Guidelines for BCNA’s Community Manager. Given the sensitive subject matter of the BCNA online network it was paramount a strategy was articulated to ensure the best interests of both the organisation and its community members.
