Social Media Specialist for WOTIF

Summary: Owned by Expedia, the WOTIF team are after a social media specialist who will go above and beyond to join their fun, cake-loving team.

Needed: Someone with their finger on the pulse of pop culture who is confident with analytics as well as producing content. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment and is thick skinned to deal with negative comments in an on-brand manner.

Experience Required: 3 years + experience and tertiary education certificate.

Social Media Content Manager for Australian Defence Force

Summary: If getting a security clearance for a new job is something you always dreamed of, check out this Melbourne-based role working with ManPower & ADF for Defence Jobs Australia’s social channels to recruit suitable candidates for the Navy, Air Force and Army.

Needed: An enthusiastic, self-starting Social Media Content Manager who can monitor online discussions, produce insightful reports, work with the broader marketing team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience Required: 1-2 years in similar role and experience in a results driven environment.

Community Engagement Manager for Fighting Chance

Summary: A super varied role for a Northern Beaches NFP that works to give disabled members chances for employments, skills development and social experiences.

Needed: This is a broad role liaising with external stakeholders to manage participant intake and implementing a communications strategy to engage the Fighting Chance community through the social channels and website. In short, an exceptional communicator with the ability to deliver great content.

Experience Required: Experience understanding the difficulties of living with a disability, plus experience communicating with and influencing many stakeholders.

Social Media & Content Manager for GM Holden

Summary: You might have heard of these guys, they make cars I think.

Needed: This is a newly created role for someone to work on and deliver the social strategy for Holden in Australia, who can get buy-in from internal stakeholders, come up with innovative campaigns, and manage external agencies.

Experience Required: Strong marketing background and experience with fast turnarounds would be highly regarded.

Needed: Well, they think they are after a customer-service specialist so my advice is to convince them that what they really need is a true community manager who will not just be the ‘go-to person’ but will enthuse and bind the tenants without them even realising they are being managed and take this community to a new level.

Experience Required: Friendly personality of course, and IT knowledge would be helpful.
