Although social media growth has slowed in Australia over the last year, it doesn’t mean social media is going away any time soon. Around the world, people continue to sign up to social networks. Back home, Facebook is still king.

Everyone may be on Facebook, but does that mean this is where you need to reach them? It can be challenging to see good returns from Facebook without considerable advertising spend. For small businesses or if you’re trying a reach a niche audience, smaller networks could give better results. Pinterest, for example, has 320k Australian users, and can be a smart option for businesses in home, arts and crafts, fashion, and beauty.
