Swarm Conference 2020: bigger and better than ever
The annual highlight of the online community calendar is almost here!
SWARM 2020 kicks off on August 29, showcasing local and international talent while delivering 9 days of thought-provoking keynotes, workshops and inspiration designed to lead, inform and educate in the community management industry.
While SWARM will be delivered a little differently this year (and we’re going to be honest, we’ll miss the incredible catering) SWARM Co-Founder Venessa Paech tells us that the opportunity to create a 100% digital conference has created an opportunity for a broader mix of content, particularly for those new to community management.
Ticket sales are now live, and we’re beyond excited with the extensive line-up which features keynotes by world leaders in the community space, such as Carrie Melissa Jones, Jono Bacon, Marjorie Anderson, Rachel Happe and Rich Millington.
The schedule, which is live with more announcements to come, boasts a lively combination of virtual cocktail mixers, talks, panels and interactive wellbeing sessions including self-care and yoga.
For senior professionals looking for trends and insights to plan their next move, sessions on seeding new communities, incentivising engagement and setting up an online community strategy for success, will provide invaluable insight and inspiration.
Community owners and builders from the education, professional association, therapeutic and youth sectors will be catered for, and we are intrigued by Tyson Yunkaporta’s keynote on Indigenous community building practices and ways of thinking.
Quiip is proud to once again be a principal sponsor of SWARM, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Tickets are just $199 ($500+ less than usual) and available for purchase here.
Founded in 2011, APAC’s flagship conference for online community professionals connects local builders, thinkers, managers and makers with top international talent, for learning, collaboration, inspiration and outcomes.
SWARM grew out of the Australian Community Manager Roundtables in 2009, and was created by veteran community management leaders Venessa Paech and Alison Michalk (CEO of Quiip) to support and grow the industry.
