Swarm connects Community Managers with the aim of sharing resources, best practices, information and ideas, whilst contributing our voice to the discourse of our digital futures.

About the Project...

In November 2011, Quip organised & hosted the world’s first Online Community Management conferences in Sydney Australia. This year the conference is back again, this time in Melbourne and is sure to be better than ever.

This year’s speakers include Sherrie Rhode (Magento), Shreyas Narayanan Kutty (Constellation Labs), Cesar Castro (Community Cloud), Christine Moellenberndt (Reddit) and Tarleton Gillespie (Microsoft Research Social Media Collective) as well as a host of other incredible and inspiring speakers.

Over the past seven years the event has attracted international talent such as Connie Bensen (MD of Community Execution & Strategy, Dell), Richard Millington (CEO, Feverbee), Justin Isaf (Head of Community, Huffington Post) and Maria Ogneva (Head of Community, Yammer) among amazing local speakers. Over 700 ‘swarmees’ have attended Swarm over the last 7 years with over 200 communities being represented.

Stay tuned for futures Swarm events. Follow us at @swarmconf for updates.
