Take 3 for the Sea were looking to develop a strategic approach that would support the growth of their global movement via social media.

Challenges

As a not-for-profit with a small team, Take 3 for the Sea needed a social media strategy they could implement and maintain with minimal budget and resource. In a crowded online sector, with limited practical experience of emerging social media channels, the need to communicate the key elements of their movement effectively was critical.

Solutions

Using our proprietary social media/community-building framework, Quiip worked with Take 3 for the Sea to establish all the key components for building a successful social media strategy. Quiip facilitated a strategy workshop using our established CORE methodology, which provides an efficient way to make decisions on key aspects of the social media strategy with key stakeholders in the room.

Quiip then used the information gathered in the strategy workshop to create a social media strategy document that covered goals, objectives, audiences, channels/platforms, content pillars, measures of success and tactical tips for implementation on each channel.

  • Prioritising UGC for behaviour change.
  • Refining channel approach and tactics for reaching new audiences.

Results

On delivery of the strategy document, the Take 3 for the Sea team felt they had a clear direction for their social media channels and where to focus their priorities to grow engagement and reach.
