Meet the Team: Bhushan
At Quiip we have over 24 community managers based around Australia, and the globe. We love having the opportunity to dive into their insights and stories, and we look forward to introducing everyone across 2023. In this edition we meet Community Manager, Bhushan.
When did you join Quiip, and what led you to Quiip?
Dec 2021. I have been following Quiip since I started working in the Digital Marketing industry in Australia and met a lot of people who have worked for Quiip. I was really impressed with the kind of work & professionalism Quiip displayed and was keen to work with them.
What were some of your prior roles?
I started my career in the PR industry working with brands like Castrol, VW Group and then moved into the Digital Marketing space. I was in charge of the social content and community management for Microsoft in the APAC region.
When did you join Quiip, and what led you to Quiip?

What are some of your favourite places on the internet?
I love specific interest led forums where group members are open to sharing experiences and learnings. The amount of information one can find if they are interested about a specific topic or hobby is unlimited. Some of the groups include My Millennial Money, Cavoodles Dog Owners Group & OzBargain.
What are the current client projects you work on?
I work on the client Woolworths (helping manage their bunch community) and Kinora.
What project/client stands out and why do you enjoy it?
Has to be Woolworths. The community is so complex but the way our team collaborates to meet the client’s requirements is outstanding.
Are there any brand communities or social media that you really love?
Koala, The Oddie & Dan Andrews (Social channels)
What does flexible work enable you to get up to outside of work?
It allows me to keep my passion (of working in community management) going, while I pursue a career in a different industry
What is something quirky or interesting about you?
I have been a fan influencer for Arsenal Football Club – creating content for them on their social media channels.
What do you think the future of social media and/or community management holds?
Social and digital communities are no longer a new thing. Across the world people have gotten used to sharing, discussing & commenting about everything that’s happening in their life. It is very important that brands & community management professionals help maintain the quality of interactions at the highest levels.
