Meet the Team: Victoria Morgan

by Maddie Duke September 30, 2026

The Quiip team is fully remote and based around Australia and in other parts of the world. Today, let’s get to know Sydney-based Community Manager, Victoria Morgan.

Tell us about you and Quiip.

I’m currently based in Sydney, after recently moving back to Australia following more than a decade living overseas across Canada, the US and Scotland. Somewhere along the way I also became a Canadian citizen, so Canada will always feel like a second home.

I joined Quiip in December 2025 as a Community Manager. My background is a little unconventional. Alongside working in social media and community management, I’m also an actor and have spent much of my career working in the entertainment industry.

What do you enjoy about working with Quiip?

One of the things I love most about Quiip is the flexibility and freedom that comes with working remotely. Since joining, I’ve been able to travel and quite literally move across the globe while continuing to work.

What has surprised me most, though, is how connected I feel to everyone despite us all working remotely. Quiip makes a real effort to keep people connected, whether that’s sharing what’s happening across the team, checking in or simply making sure people feel supported. I genuinely feel more connected to this team than I have in some traditional workplaces, which I think is pretty special for a completely remote company.

What are some of your favourite places on the internet?

My guilty pleasure is definitely TikTok, although I will defend it! I think it gets a bad rap as just dancing and trends, but once you’ve curated your FYP, it can be an incredible place to learn.

I follow neuroscientists, doctors, finance experts and people from all sorts of fields who are able to take subjects that can feel complicated or intimidating and make them incredibly accessible. I love that social media can break down some of those barriers. Sometimes you just need to hear the same idea explained by a different person for it to finally click.

I’m also deep into Reddit, regularly go through a YouTube phase and love a good podcast. Basically, if there’s a rabbit hole available, I’ll probably find it. I have far too many spreadsheets dedicated to researching things and am constantly planning where I want to travel next. Working on Tourism Australia has definitely inspired a few more destinations to add to the list!

What do you think the future of social media and/or community management holds?

As AI becomes more embedded in our everyday lives, I think people are going to crave human connection online even more.

We’re already becoming very quick to question whether something was created by AI, sometimes to the point where genuine creativity or talent can be dismissed as AI-generated. I think that makes authenticity and personality increasingly valuable.

The highly polished, perfectly curated side of social media will probably always have its place, but I think people are craving more realness. They want to see personality, vulnerability and imperfection, and they want to feel like there’s an actual person on the other side of the screen.

For community management especially, I think that human element is going to become even more important. People want to feel genuinely heard and responded to, not like they’re talking to a brand or receiving a perfectly generated response. The brands that understand that, and are willing to actually connect with their communities, are the ones I think people will keep coming back to.
