Travis’ interest in community management began way back in the days of 14.4 modems and IRC chat rooms when he started working with gaming communities. He then joined the Crossroads gaming network working on building communities for some of the most popular MMORPGs (massive multi-player online role-playing games). They were heady days of passionate fans and ridiculously long acronyms.
Travis eventually went into design and development while working with clients around the world in building and maintaining their sites and communities. Along the way he developed the ancient community art form of learning to smile from the wrists down.
When not destroying his eyes on computers, he enjoys photography, hiking, cooking and pursuing the lifelong goal of making the perfect Old Fashioned.
