Sophie Burns is a Community Manager and has been working with Quiip since 2022. In this time Sophie has been able to work on several clients such as SBS and Turning Point while also developing her online community management skills through professional development training and working closely with her experienced team mates. She is extremely motivated by her colleagues and finds any excuse to grow her skills in a practical and immediately applicable sense to that work that she engages in day to day.
Sophie has a background in copywriting and editing as well as having worked several years in Education, predominantly teaching English as a second language with business professionals in a wide range of industries from logistics, law firms to mechanical engineers. Additionally, Sophie works as a freelance opera singer. Her musical pursuits have taken her to theaters across Europe and Australia, and she enjoys being able to balance her work in social media and community management with her creative projects. In short, she keeps very busy!
Having spent the last five years living in Berlin, Germany Sophie recently made the move to its European neighbour, Barcelona on the north coast of sunny Spain. She is excited to have a lot more sunshine in her life as well as the added challenge of learning Spanish.
